Technical equipment may ship as a parcel, on a pallet or by specialized freight. The right delivery plan starts with the exact equipment and receiving site.
How direct fulfillment works
Where a supplier supports direct fulfillment, a product may ship from the manufacturer or a distribution facility directly to the delivery address. The arrangement, shipping origin and responsible parties will be confirmed in the written quote.
Before delivery is arranged
- Confirm the delivery ZIP code and whether the destination is commercial or residential.
- Describe loading-dock, forklift and liftgate needs.
- Identify appointment requirements, limited access and unloading restrictions.
- Confirm whether delivery is curbside, dock delivery or another agreed service.
- Check assembly, installation and site-preparation responsibilities.
Freight and lead times
Shipping is not automatically included. Rates, carrier service and lead times vary by supplier, product and destination. Estimated dates are subject to availability and carrier confirmation. We do not currently publish a universal free-shipping promise or delivery timeframe.
When a shipment arrives
Follow the receiving instructions supplied with the order. Inspect packaging and goods before acknowledging receipt where the carrier allows it. Document visible damage and contact the designated order-support contact promptly. Exact reporting deadlines and claims procedures must be confirmed for the shipment.
